Lamb Shanks

Ingredients for one serving

6 oz
2 tablespoons
1 teaspoon
3 tablespoons
2 tablespoons
monterey cheese
1 teaspoon Optional
1 teaspoon Optional
1 tablespoon
1 teaspoon Optional
5 g
a slice of


  1. Scoop marrow from shank bone
  2. Warm butter, oil, basil and/or bay leaves and garlic together in a 4-ounces jar, capped with blender washer/blades/base, immersed in bowl of mildly hot water for 5 minutes.
  3. When butter has melted, blenderize ingredients for 5 seconds at medium speed.
  4. Slice lamb into strips.
  5. Dice asparagus
  6. In a covered bowl at room temperature, marinate lamb strips and asparagus in sauce for 1-3 hours.
  7. Spread marinated ingredients on plate and top with cheese, onion and parsley.
