Spicy African Paste

Ingredients for four servings

0.25 teaspoon
0.25 teaspoon
fenugreek seed
0.25 teaspoon

1/4 inch of a stick

0.2 teaspoon
1 slice of a clove
fresh
0.5 teaspoon
paprika
0.1 teaspoon
1 pinch
mixed peppercorns
×3
grated
0.1 teaspoon
1 pinch
fresh

1 tablespoon


Instructions

  1. Blenderize cardamon, coriander, fenugreek, clove, cinnamon, allspice and peppercorns together in a 4-ounces jar until they are flour.
  2. If a thicker sauce is desired, slice a deep and wide cut in tomato.
  3. Over a bowl, gently squeeze tomato to remove juice and seeds.
  4. Drink tomato juice when thirsty.
  5. Blenderize all ingredients together in a 12- or 16-ounces jar for 15 seconds.
  6. Let stand for at least 10 hours
  7. Sauce will keep in refrigeration for at least 1 month.
