Egg/Cheese Basil Sauce

Ingredients for one serving

2 tablespoons
or cream or milk
×1
grated no-salt-added raw Monterey cheese
4 tablespoons
finely chopped fresh basil leaves
2 tablespoons
×1
PICKLED PEPPERS (PIMENTOS)
1 teaspoon Optional


Instructions

  1. Blenderize egg, 1 tablespoon basil and cheese together in an 8- ounces jar on medium speed until smooth.
  2. Slice beef thinly lengthwise, and slice again to make small rectangles.
  3. Place meat and diced tomato in a decorative pattern on plate.
  4. Pour sauce over meat.
  5. Sprinkle with pimentos and remaining chopped basil.
